Satiar Pourvasei

Satiar was last seen at PRT in The Co-Op production of AMERICAN LA RONDE as Sgt. Robert Montgomery Kincaid.  Other notable credits include his performance as Marco in Arthur Miller’s A VIEW FROM THE BRIDGE at PRT, as Ebrahim in the world premiere of HOSTAGE by Michelle Kolos Brooks at the Skylight Theatre, and as Janis in WAR WORDS by Michelle Kolos Brooks performed at both The Actors Gang and at the New Vic in Santa Barbara.  Television credits include NCIS: LOS ANGELES, DAYS OF OUR LIVES, J.A.G., and THE PRACTICE.  Satiar is a graduate of the University of Southern California B.F.A. – Acting program, and has trained with Howard Fine at the Howard Fine Acting Studio.  Thank you to the wonderful cast, Gregg Ostrin, Cyndy Fujikawa, and you (yes, YOU) for your support.

Jill Renner

Rachel Townsend

Dancer, actor, choreographer and movement teacher, Rachel appeared as Consuelo in Unfinished Women Cry in No-Man’s Land While a Bird Dies in a Gilded Cage directed by Shirley Jo Finney, Julia in Wedding Band, directed by Debbie Allen. At PRT Rachel played Betsy in The Pact and understudied Cynthia in Stalled. Film roles include Rebecca Duo The Last Decision of President and Mrs. Brown in Puzzled in addition to numerous television commercials as both on-camera and voiceover talent.

Alondra Andrade

Alondra Andrade is delighted to be returning to ‘The Spy Who Went Into Rehab’ with Pacific Resident Theatre. She is a 3-year graduate from the LACC Theater Academy and is a current student at The Actors’ Gang. She was last seen in the short film ‘The Duchenne’s’ directed by Michael Zhang, and the feature film ‘Mommy Monster’ directed by award winning director, Pierre Tsigaridis.

Cyndy Fujikawa

Regional theatre: San Jose Rep, A Contemporary Theatre (Seattle), Sacramento Theatre Company; Off Broadway: New Victory Theatre, New York Theatre Workshop, Mabou Mines. Off-off Broadway: Lark Theatre Co; Los Angeles: Theatre West, Coronet Theatre, Cornerstone Theatre Co, hereandnow theatre co; San Francisco Bay Area: Marines’ Memorial Theatre; Encore Theatre Co. A San Francisco State theatre (BA) and American Conservatory Theatre (MFA) alum, she is also a Usual Suspect at New York Theatre Workshop and member of Antaeus Playwrights Lab. She dedicates this performance to her late husband, Dennis Murphy.

Jason Culp

Jason has been an actor all his life. He trained at American Conservatory Theatre and HB Studios. He was featured on television in “Days Of Our Lives” and “General Hospital”, and in the cult film Skinheads. His roles in regional theater include Creon in Anouilh’s Antigone and Trigorin in The Seagull. He has been an audiobook narrator for 30 years. He has been seen recently as Alfieri in A View From The Bridge at Theatre Palisades, and featured in Murder After Hours at Group Rep Theatre.

Michael Redfield

Michael Redfield was born and raised in the Los Angeles theatre. A 20-year member of PRT, and a founding member of Rogue Machine Theatre, he’s appeared in countless productions, among them, When They Speak of Rita, My Antonia, Small Engine Repair, The Browning Version, Dinner With Friends, Oppenheimer, and most recently Middletown. He’s married to fellow PRT member Tracie Lockwood, and they have three wonderful children. He’s a graduate of Amherst College where he studied Biology and Music Composition..

Mariah Shirley

Mariah is a lon gtime member of Pacific Resident Theatre. Credits include Playboy of the Western Worlds directed by Marilyn Fox and Gar Campbell and featuring fellow Spy castmate Stuart W. Howard. She was last seen as Evie in the PRT Co-op production of Ellen McLaughlin’s Tongue of the Bird with Alley Mills, also directed by Cyndy Fujikawa. She is thrilled to have the opportunity to join the cast for some theatre rehab! An unercatin world, here’s to laughing together!

Gregg Ostrin

Plays include The Soul of Motown (Stage West Theater, Calgary), Truffles (Secret Door Theater, New York City), Kowalski (Two Roads Theater), Rank & File (Hudson Theater). His play The Beverly Hills Hotel Peace Talks just had its premiere staged reading at The Coachella Valley Rep in Palm Springs, in its Origins series and will receive its premiere there next summer. This is Gregg’s first production with PRT and he is thrilled to be working with his DEAR friend Cyndy Fujikawa.

Cyndy Fujikawa

At the PRT Co-op Cyndy directed Ellen McLaughlin’s Tongue of a Bird and Kres Mersky’s Martin is Mine from Nuts ‘n Chews by Kres Mersky. Also for the Co-op she wrote and co-produced The Last Vaudevillian, a play based on her mom and their family’s roots in theatre and vaudeville. She directed and produced the documentary Ninety Minutes Later about the late actress Vanessa Marquez, which will be released this year. Although she has known playwright/theatre artist Gregg Ostrin since high school, this is their first collaboration (To Be Continued!)

Michael Franco

Michael has worked around the world as a producer, playwright, director, designer and actor. Credits include The Hostage, Nosferatu, Angel of the Final Hour, The Master and Margarita, Pathe X and Heart of a Dog for Zoo District, Gorey Stories and the Swine Show for Sacred Fools. The Time of Your Life, How to Explain the History of Communism to Mental Patients, Autobahn, The Room, The Good Person of Setzuan, The Dead and Joe’s Garage for Open Fist. This is Michael’s second show with PRT, having recently created the lighting design for PRT’s critically acclaimed production of A Permanent Image.
