Stefani is a Venice, California treasure, well-loved for her rhythmic guitar playing, haunting bluesy voice and ethnic lore she incorporates in her performances. She offers a rich repertoire of soulful romantic and enchanting melodies from many nations. Steve is a prolific singer-songwriter/multi-instrumentalist, who has recorded for MCA and Polygram Records. His style is warm, soulful, inviting and gloriously gritty. He is known for his band The Painkillers. His original tunes feel like the classics you love and will never forget.
Both talented singer/songwriters and accomplished musicians, Valadez/Moos have been playing together for over 20 years. They are prepared to bring a kaleidoscope of songs deep and easy to love. Together, they create unforgettable moments that remind us that music can be magic.
They will be joined by veteran musicians: Rick Moors on Bass (Bonedaddys, Conjunto Jardin, Urban Dread), Leo Chelyapov on Clarinet & Sax (The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Porno for Pyros, and Late Night with David Letterman), and Jamie Papish on percussion (Yuval Ron Ensemble, Chloe Pormorady Ensemble, Stefani Valadez Ensemble).

Rita Obermeyer, a long time member of Pacific Resident Theatre is excited to return to Wanda’s, PRT’s Concert space for another concert on Sunday, May 3rd. Rita is singing some of her favorite standards performed with a Bluesy, jazzy style. Rita will be joined by her accompanist, David Barker and Kevin Abdella on stand up bass.
