Arthur Miller

Arthur Miller (1915–2005) was one of the most influential American playwrights of the 20th century, celebrated for his searching examinations of morality, responsibility, and the cost of personal integrity. Born in New York City, Miller rose to prominence with All My Sons (1947) and achieved international acclaim with Death of a Salesman (1949), which earned the Pulitzer Prize and remains a landmark of American drama. His body of work—including The Crucible, A View from the Bridge, and After the Fall—consistently interrogates the tension between private conscience and public obligation. The Price (1968), one of Miller’s most intimate and psychologically complex plays, explores family loyalty, sacrifice, and the emotional reckoning of choices made decades earlier. Through its piercing dialogue and moral ambiguity, The Price exemplifies Miller’s enduring ability to fuse personal drama with larger social questions. His plays continue to resonate for their emotional depth, ethical urgency, and profound humanity.

Leigh Allen

LEIGH ALLEN (Lighting Design) is a recipient of the Los Angeles Drama Critics’ Circle Award (LADCC) for Career Achievement. Her accolades include: Ovation/Best Production for Dying City, Killer Joe, and When Jazz Had the Blues; LADCC Award for Production for One Night in Miami; Garland Award for Lighting Design for Cousin Bette; LA Weekly Lighting Design Award for Treefall; BroadwayWorld Santa Barbara Lighting Design Award for Mary Poppins; and LADCC & LA Weekly Awards for Johnny Got His Gun. She has also toured with Masters of Illusion, Live! and Vox Lumiere; designed for Regent and Princess cruise-lines, theme park shows, and several corporate events. Local work includes companies like Musical Theatre West, South Bay CLO, The Old Globe, Pasadena Playhouse, Rogue Machine Theatre, Pacific Resident Theatre, Antaeus, and The Wallis Annenberg, among many others. Currently Leigh teaches full time at Santa Monica College.

Keilani Gleave

KEILANI GLEAVE (Costume Design) is a Los Angeles based Costume Designer. She is thrilled to be returning to Pacific Resident Theatre for her second show, following Andy Warhol’s Tomato. When she’s not designing, she works as a Patternmaker and Draper for the film industry. She’s made principal costumes for over 35 films, including Hocus Pocus 2, The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes, The Haunted Mansion, Mercy, Monster: The Ed Gein Story, and The Adventures of Cliff Booth.
