Michael Joseph Carr is of Irish descent and was born and brought up in Birmingham,England. After being awarded a grant from Birmingham City Council, he attended East15 Acting School, London.
Following graduation he appeared in “Gotcha!”, Scottish Tour, “Wait Until Dark” Birmingham Repertory Theatre, UK. “Peter Pan”, “Strippers”, “The Importance Of BeingEarnest”,”The Mistress of the Inn” and “The Railway Children” at the Mercury Repertory Theatre Colchester, UK. “Fur Coat And No Knickers”, “Accrington Pals” and “Wait Until Dark“ at The Pomegranate Repertory Theatre, Chesterfield, UK and “Guardian Angels” at The Belgrade Theatre Coventry, UK. He also appeared in “When A Rover Returns”,Red Lion Theatre London , “Submariners” White Bear Theater London and “The Secret Rapture”, Barons Court Theatre, London.
U.S. Theatre Credits include, “The Mousetrap” and “The Importance Of Being Earnest” Pierson Theatre, Los Angeles. “SMASH” Long Beach Playhouse and “Communicating Doors” The Odyssey Theatre Ensemble, Los Angeles.
British Film and TV Credits include “Bugs”, “The Krays”, “The Bill”, “Guilt” and “A Song To Say Goodbye”.

Michael is also a member of The Pacific Residents Theatre Company Writing Group where he develops his own work.
