Keith Stevenson

is the author of The Fried Meat Trilogy, performed at Pacific Resident Theatre. Out There on Fried Meat Ridge Rd. (Ovation nomination for Playwriting for an Original Play) played at Trafalgar Studios in London’s West End in 2017 with Mr. Stevenson performing.  Performance credits include Andy Warhol’s Tomato; Smart Love; Rhinoceros; My Girlfriend is Alien by Keith DeFacto; Lions (PRT) and Julia (PRT, 59e59 in NYC); King Dick (Gangbusters Theatre); The Steward of Christendom (Pittsburgh Public). Directorial credits: Blunt Force (PRT); Lone-Anon (PRT, Rogue Machine, LA Weekly’s ten best plays of the year).  

Brian Letscher

As an actor, Brian’s best known for playing “Tom Larsen” on ABC’s smash-hit SCANDAL and Director of CIA Special Initiatives “Tucker Magnus” on CW’s VALOR.  He has recurred on numerous other shows including 911-LONESTAR, PRETTY LITTLE LIARS and SHOOTER while sticking close to his theatre roots – beginning with Pacific Resident Theatre where he has appeared in WILDBOY, MAURITIUS, HOSTAGE, MY GIRLFRIEND IS AN ALIEN, THE REALISTIC JONESES and now very happy to be in his brother’s new play, DEMOLITION.  Thank you to Matt, Max and Marilyn and the incredible cast and crew.  And, of course, Amy, Aidan and Lucy – heart emoji.

Samantha Sloyan

This is Samantha’s first production with Pacific Resident Theatre. Growing up in Los Angeles, she has enjoyed their productions over the years  and is thrilled to now be a part of one. Her recent theater credits include The Thanksgiving Play at the Geffen Playhouse and Vicuña at The Kirk Douglas Theater. She is best known for her work as Beverly Keane in Midnight Mass (Netflix) and for her long ago run as Dr. Penny Blake on Grey’s Anatomy. She can be seen most recently in The Fall of the House of Usher on Netflix and in the upcoming feature, Life of Chuck.

Ryan Foust

Ryan Foust (Paul) is pleased to make his Pacific Resident Theater debut in Demolition. Ryan has featured on Broadway as Charlie Bucket in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (Jack O’Brien, Dir.) Off-Broadway: Make Believe (Michael Greif, Dir.) Off-Broadway: Mary Page Marlowe by Tracy Letts (Lila Neugebauer, Dir.). Ryan’s film credits include The Goldfinch (John Crowley, Dir.), Marry Me (Kat Coiro, Dir.); short Father Figurine (Matt Kazman, Dir.); TV credits include Tales of the City. Ryan, a native of Tampa, Florida, studies improv at the famous LA Groundlings and has featured in a Hip-Hop Comedy Improv production. Thanks to Paradigm, and all of my coaches and mentors. Tony Pasqualini

Tony is entering into his fiftieth year in the theatre. Some of his favorite roles include Shylock in The Merchant of Venice, Prospero in The Tempest, Lear in King Lear. In Los Angeles Tony has appeared at the South Coast Repertory playing Jim Bayless in All My Sons; the Fountain Theatre as Donald Rumsfeld in What I Heard About Iraq; the Hollywood Bowl as Van Swieten in Amadeus; EST LA as Harold in Watching OJ; and post pandemic Tim in A Great Wilderness at Rogue Machine, Leonato in Much Ado About Nothing at A Noise Within, and Mike in Lines In The Dust for the Collaborative Actors Collective. Among his many roles here at PRT Tony has played Tobias in A Delicate Balance, and Andrew in Loyalties, a play he also wrote. Tony has guest starred on over 50 television shows and films. A few favorites: Grace and Frankie; Mad Men; Modern Family; West Wing, The Office and Frasier.

Melissa Bales

Melissa Weber Bales is an actor and theatre educator. A long-time member of Pacific Resident Theatre, Melissa is thrilled to be on the PRT Mainstage again in Matt Letscher’s Demolition. Notable PRT productions include The Realistic Joneses in the co-op, directed by Max Mayer, Smart Love written by Brian Letscher, A View from the Bridge (LA Weekly Award Nom, Leading Female Performance), Rhinoceros (Stage Raw Nom, Best Ensemble), Autumn and Winter (U.S. Premiere), Rocket to the Moon (LADCC Nom, Ensemble), and Wrecked in the co-op. A Center Theatre Group Theatre Educator Fellow, Melissa teaches and directs theatre at Wildwood School. This one’s for Mom…and Dad.

Max Mayer

MAX MAYER is a Founder and Producing Director of  NEW YORK STAGE AND FILM which for nearly 40 years has earned a national reputation for developing new work for the American Theatre such as HAMILTON,  DOUBT, THE HUMANS, HADESTOWN, SAVAGE IN LIMBO, WHITE GIRL IN DANGER, GALILEO, TRU and many, many more. Max has directed world and US premieres of plays by John Patrick Shanley, George F. Walker, Alexandra Vassilaros, Richard Nelson, Eric Overmeyer, Lee Blessing, Joanna Murray Smith and Athol Fugard at theatres such as Second Stage, Arena Stage, Steppenwolf, Long Wharf, and Atlantic. For film, Max wrote and directed ADAM  starring Rose Byrne and Hugh Dancy, directed As Cool As I Am with Claire Danes and James Marsden, Better Living with Olympia Dukakis and Roy Scheider as well as TV episodes of THE WEST WING, ALIAS and FAMILY LAW.

Matt Letscher

Although a Michigan native, Matt has spent the last thirty years as a working actor in Los Angeles. Film credits include Ambassador Chris Stevens in 13 HOURS, Charles in HER, and Captain Love in THE MASK OF ZORRO, and the upcoming SHATTERED ICE. Television credits include series regular and recurring roles on NARCOS:MEXICO, THE FLASH, LEGENDS OF TOMORROW, SCANDAL, ELI STONE and the upcoming SUITS:LA. Broadway stage credits include Neil Simon’s PROPOSALS (Broadhurst), THE RIVALS (Vivian Beaumont at Lincoln Center) and Off Broadway credits include THE LANGUAGE ARCHIVE (Laura Pels).  Matt is a company member at PRT where he has appeared in TONIGHT AT 8:30, ON APPROVAL, CIGARETTES AND CHOCOLATE, and the title role in ANATOL, for which he received a LADCC award.  As a playwright, Matt’s original script GAPS IN THE FOSSIL RECORD premiered at PRT. His plays SEA OF FOOLS and GITFR have played at Jeff Daniel’s Purple Rose Theater. Matt’s next play, ALWAYS COME BACK, is set to premiere at the Purple Rose in summer ’25. Matt would like to express his deep gratitude to Marilyn Fox, Max Mayer, Terry Walters, Mike Myers, John Ruskin and all the staff and company of PRT for their generous support of DEMOLITION.

Marilyn Fox

MARILYN FOX is the Artistic Director at Pacific Resident Theatre and has produced over 75 productions at PRT winning over 125 awards for excellence. Also at PRT, she directed Ondine  (LADCC Award, Direction), The Seagull, The Playboy of the Western World, Fata Morgana, The Browning Version (LADCC Award for Direction with Associate Director, Dana Jackson) and many more. She is a three time LA Drama Critic’s Circle Award winner for Lead Performance and a two time LADCC Award winner for Direction. She has been honored with the Career Achievement Award by the LA Weekly. Ms. Fox is an Associate Adjunct Professor at UCLA’s School of Theater, As an actress, Marilyn was last seen in The Dorothy Parker Project at PRT, as Lola in The Model Apartment at The Geffen Playhouse and as Bessie Berger in the 20th Anniversary production of Awake and Sing! at the Odyssey Theatre. Also at PRT, The Cherry Orchard, Lady Torrance in Orpheus Descending (Los Angeles Drama Critic’s Circle, Lead Performance), Anna Petrovna in Ivanov directed by Gar Campbell, and The Quick-Change Room (LADCC Award, Lead Performance), the latter moving to Off-Broadway). She dedicates her work to Gar Campbell.

Sara Newman

Leigh Allen

Leigh Alleni s a recipient of the Los Angeles Drama Critics’ Circle Award (LADCC) for Career Achievement. Her accolades include: Ovation/Best Production for Dying City, Killer Joe and When Jazz had the Blues, LADCC award / Production for One Night in Miami, Garland Award for Lighting Design Cousin Bette, LA Weekly Lighting Design Award for Treefall, BroadwayWorld Santa Barbara Lighting Design award for Mary Poppins, and LADCC & LA Weekly Awards for Johnny Got His Gun. She has also toured with Masters of Illusion, Live! ;Vox Lumiere; designed for Regent and Princess cruise-lines, theme park shows, and several corporate events. Local work includes companies like Musical Theatre West, South Bay CLO, The Old Globe, Pasadena Playhouse, Rogue Machine Theatre, Pacific Resident Theatre, Anteaus, and The Wallis Annenberg, among many others. Currently Leigh teaches full time at Santa Monica College.

Audrey Eisner

Audrey Eisner has been involved with PRT for 25 years so happy to be back.  Some theatre favorites to costume have been A View From The Bridge, Sweet Thursday, The Browning Version, Wild Boy, Happy End, Fata Morgana, The Hasty Heart, Anatol. Recently she become a union costumer for film and television.  Some of her projects include; The First Lady, Underground Railroad, Dopesick, The Harder They Fall, and The United States vs Billie Holiday. A graduate of CSU Long Beach TA program in Costume Design. Her proudest accomplishment is her marriage to James Barner and her sons Jakob and Eli.

Chris Moscatiello

Chris Moscatiello Chris is an award-winning sound designer, composer, music editor and music director for theater, television and film. TV highlights include The Walking Dead, Eureka, Psych, Human Target, Caprica, The Cape and Trauma. He has scored series and specials for National Geographic and The Discovery Channel, as well as specials and promos for HBO, BBC, Animal Planet, MSNBC, ZDF Germany and The History Channel. Theater highlights include The Kennedy Center, The Smithsonian Institution, The Shakespeare Theatre, Signature Theatre, Roundhouse Theatre, Rogue Machine, Antaeus, A Noise Within, Skylight Theatre, The Fountain Theatre, Odyssey Theater, The Road Theatre, Pacific Resident Theater, and he served as assistant conductor for the national tour of The Phantom of the Opera.

Myrna Gawryn

Myrna Gawryndirects and consults for theater, film, and for the animation industry domestically and abroad in the areas of character behavior and narrative structure. Her background is in dance, choreography and physical performance.  She has worked with the Sundance Theater Lab in Utah, and the Lincoln Center Director’s Lab at the Pasadena Playhouse, Lucas Film, DreamWorks and Disney, and abroad with studios and film schools in France, Hungary, Germany, Australia, Ireland, Singapore, Taiwan, Malaysia, and more.  Myrna’s passion for understanding how we move and what moves us, initiates her work in all storytelling mediums. She is very happy to be home at PRT once again, working alongside the creative team on ‘Demolition’.

Teak Piegdon

Teak Piegdon is a 2020 UCSC honors graduate with a major in Theatre Arts and a minor in Film and Digital Media. She has worked with Pacific Resident Theatre since 2016, stage managing such plays as, “The Bespoke Overcoat,” “The Caretaker,” “Albee/Pinter,” “After the Revolution,” “Cigarettes and Chocolate,” and “Andy Warhol’s Tomato” (which received the LA Times “Critic’s Choice”). She also has worked with the Rogue Machine Theatre Company as the Assistant Scenic Designer for “Heroes of the Fourth Turning,” the Assistant Costume Designer for the musical “Come Get Maggie,” the Assistant Director for “The Beautiful People,” and as the Assistant Stage Manager for “This Wonderful Life.”
