Elizabeth Karr

Elizabeth has played lead and supporting roles in LA, NYC and regional theatres. Favorite PRT roles include Yelena in Chekhov’s UNCLE VANYA opposite PRT’s beloved Orson Bean’s Serbreyakov, on the Main Stage, directed by Bruce Katzman; and Dr. Melanie Hunter in the Co-Op, INFORMED CONSENT by Daniel Freudenberger, directed by Peter Levin.  Elizabeth was a company member and served on the Steering Committee of Classical Theatre Lab for many years, chairman of the board for five. During her tenure, CTL obtained grants and founded West Hollywood’s free Summer Shakespeare in the Parks. She’s produced and acted in many classic plays with CTL and Cedarburg Productions, of which Elizabeth is artistic director. Elizabeth was a MasterTheatre Teaching Artist at LA Music Center and LA’s Best After School Arts Program, and currently a private acting/audition coach.
