Pacific Resident Theatre is a 501(c)(3) non-profit theatre company, committed to producing bold, artist-driven work in the heart of the Venice Arts District for four decades. Ticket sales cover less than 40% of the cost of producing theatre — the rest depends on the generosity of people who believe in keeping high-quality theatre alive in Los Angeles.

Creating live theatre in L.A. has never been easy, and after the passage of Prop B the challenges have only grown. But for 40 years we’ve thrived by staying true to our mission: championing artists, developing new plays, and reimagining classics for our community.
