John was born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska, where he performed many times with the Omaha Community Playhouse and the Nebraska Shakespeare Festival, most memorably as Puck in NSF’s 2011 production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream. John attended Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Arts and minored in English and Dance. While attending LMU, John studied theatre abroad at the Moscow Art Theatre in Moscow and at the British American Dramatic Academy in Oxford. Favorite LMU productions include The Odd Couple (Felix), Kiss Me Kate (Bill), and The Marriage of Bette and Boo (Matt). In Los Angeles, John has performed with Will & Company and at Pacific Resident Theatre, which he is proud to call his artistic home. At PRT, John has performed in Co-op productions of Suburbia (Pony) and The Foreigner (Ellard), as well as having understudied and performed in the main stage production of Barrie: Back to Back (Charles Roche).
