Co-Op Updates – November 2007

Co-op: From Matt Solari, who is the co-op committee chairperson: “The co-op committee is looking for a director for The Time of Your Life, the first show in the 2008 co-op series. The director must be a PRT member. We are currently looking at an opening date of January 31st, but there is flexibility if you need it. In the spirit of the co-op, we encourage people to take a chance and use this as an opportunity to experiment and stretch; if interested, contact Matt Solari at mattsolari@yahoolcom or at 323 691 9268 asap.”

Members: Nancy Linehan Charles asks members to “register at Ralph’s Grocery stores to support PRT. If we get enough supporters registered for us, we get a few cents on the dollar after these supporters have bought $10,000 worth of stuff in a month. Every month. So go sign up and start eating a lot.”

Mainstage: Michael Rotthaar, HMCFL (House Management Czar for Life), is about to assign slots for Alice-Sit-by-the-Fire, the next mainstage show in 705. You can at this point volunteer for a slot (a house management slot is a four performance weekend) or you can wait for Michael to get to to your name on the roster. He will start assigning slots from the roster on Tuesday and reports that he is currently on the “D’s.” All members must house manage a show a year and are responsible for replacing themselves once they have volunteered or been assigned a slot should a scheduling coflict arise. Alice-Sit-by-the-Fire goes into previews on Thursday November 29th and will run, on a Thursday night through Sunday matinee schedule, through January 28th.
