Co-Op Updates – July 2008

PRT Picnic: As I said last week, PRT will have a picnic on Sunday July 27th on Venice Beach at the end of Venice Boulevard next to the lifeguard station. Members, journeymen, associates and their loved ones are invited to come and bring food to share. There will be barbeque, says Whitney Whetstone, who will be there to say goodbye to us all before she heads south. The picnic will start at 4PM and continue till the sun goes down.

Co-op Series: There are still lots of available audition times available for the October co-op series production of Macbeth, directed and “slightly adapted” by Nancy Linehan Charles and Tom Beyer. There are lots of audition slots this Saturday the 12th from 11AM to 4PM, says Tom, and more.slots available this Sunday June 13th from noon till 2PM. and we can squeeze in some more folks on Monday the 14th from 7PM to 9:30PM. If none of the above times work for you, Tom and Nancy will figure something out. Correction from previous e mail: Nancy and Tom cannot see people Sunday night. There will probably be no call-backs. Your audition could consist of a Shakespearean monologue of your choice or, if you wish, you can prepare a monologue or scene from Tom and Nancy’s adapted script. Their script is available on the PRT website or copyable at Staples on Lincoln , or, if you like, Tom or Nancy can e mail it to you. If it is a scene from their Macbeth, Nancy or Tom will read with you.
