Mainstage: Every PRT Member is required to usher one show a year and house manage one show a year. Michael Rothhaar, the director of The Hasty Heart, our next mainstage production, remains The House-Manager-Czar-for- Life and in that capacity offers what he calls the “chance to select the [house management] weekend of your choice well in advance and avoid getting a weekend assigned to you.” Michael will wait till Tuesday July 17th to begin assigning management slots (he works alphabetically through the roster, starting where he left off with Anatol.) A house management slot is a four performance weekend (as opposed to a one performance ushering slot administered by the Usher Czarina for Life, Elizabeth Karr. ) The Hasty Heart will need house managers starting on the weekend of August 30th. (Remember you are signing up for the whole weekend, so if you request the weekend of the 30th, you will house manage on August 30th and 31st and September 1st and 2nd.) . Every weekend thereafter until October 28th is open; all you need to do is open your notebook or Blackberry, choose a weekend and call Michael at 310 826 0669 or e mail him with your request at justact@earthlink.net.. The Hasty Heart runs Thursdays through Saturdays at 8PM and Sundays at 3PM; the house manager should be at the theater an hour before performance. .
The set for The Hasty Heart is going up this Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday (July 18th, 19th, and 20th) from 11AM to 6PM. If you have any free time, Whitney Whetstone “would love to see you. Bring your tools – all skill levels needed.”

Whitney Whetstone tells us that there will be a company meeting in mid August. She asks members to “make plans to attend – we will have some exciting news to discuss.”
