Co-Op Updates – January 2010

Co-op: Mary Jane is putting together “a potpourri of poetry/song.” She has reserved three evenings in the co-op, February 11th, 12th, and 13th, to be devoted to music and poetry performed by company members, “their own or of others” The potpourri would be open for the public to donate at door and there would be refreshments. Terry has approved the time slots but there would be little rehearsal time available which is why MJ is calling the shows “impromptu evenings.” Memorization is not required, you can simply read your piece but MJ would like a sense of how many members would like to participate. “In case it matters for themes,” she says, “PRT’s 25th Anniversary, Valentines Day, and….Chinese New Year” will do..The shows would be at 8PM and “won’t be over two hours.” Contact MJ at 310 226 2903 if you want to be a part of it. “If anyone wishes to bring a keyboard,” she says, “that’s great.”

PRT Young Actors’ Conservatory: Chris Shaw sent the following: “Know any young actors? Kids interested in theatre, writing, acting?
