Mark is an Emmy-winning composer with over 80 film scores to his credit, including the Oscar-nominated documentary FOOD, INC. But his roots are as a singer-song-writer, with influences ranging from Randy Newman to Kurt Weill to Tom Petty, and beyond.  He’ll be joined by two extraordinary musicians, bassist John Leftwich and drummer Steve Haas.

He has also toured with former Grateful Dead vocalist Donna Jean Godchaux, high points being appearances at the Fillmore Auditorium in San Francisco and The Gathering of the Vibes in Connecticut.  His other film scores include FOCUS (based on Arthur Miller’s novel and starring William H. Macy and Laura Dern), BOTTLE SHOCK (with Alan Rickman and Chris Pine), PICTURE BRIDE (with Youki Kudoh and Toshiro Mifune), and HBO’s THE RAT PACK (with Don Cheadle, Ray Liotta and Joe Mantegna.)

Mark is currently working on a theater piece with music, and he’ll be performing a few selections from that project in addition to his other songs.
