Three divorced women navigate friendship, aging, romance, and murder in this hilarious 90-minute romp.  Set in Salt Lake City, the play follows working women over a three day period.  Enamored by her new relationship, Liz introduces her new boyfriend to long-time pals Mary and Jo, upheaving their comfortable patterns of Chardonnay Tuesday, Fun Runs and Book Clubs. Soon a local crime has the girls gabbing, and accusations begin to fly.  Mary and Jo indulge in their suspicions and play the role of detectives as they try to uncover the truth and protect those that they love. Meanwhile Liz’s 19 year old daughter and her snowboarding boyfriend ride the slopes of their own drama.  It’s a comedy about friendship, parenting, aging, and love.

Marlene Galán (Mary) spent more than 20 years as a TV news broadcaster. A true storyteller at heart, she is a serious student of the craft of acting training with Larry Moss. Recently Marlene played Jesse in Lynn Nottage's Pulitzer Prize winning play Sweat. It was her first play w fellow artist Dalia Vosylius. Marlene is thrilled to join PRT and be part of this amazing ensemble to bring you some much needed laughter. The mother of 5 children, Marlene is politically active in Arizona working daily to protect democracy.

Dalia Vosylius (Jo/Producer) This marks Dalia's post-covid theatre debut. She is a proud native of Los Angeles and a long time company member of Pacific Resident Theatre. Tania Getty (Liz/Producer) is pleased as punch to bring a comedy to the stage after some strange hiatus due to a pandemic of sorts. At PRT she was last in All My Sons and our video production of A Bintel Brief. Thank you to the many people who have given their time, energy, creativity and passion to make this project come alive, and to our playwright who answers our emails and even laughed with us on a video call, and thank you, audience, for braving the theatre again because without you, we would not make a sound.

Neil McGowan
Neil McGowan (Dr. Scull/Sgt. Sponsüllar) is a long-time member of Pacific Resident Theatre, appearing in many productions over the years, most notably Keith Stevenson’s Out There on Fried Meat Ridge Rd. trilogy. As a playwright, a few of his plays have been produced in L.A. here at PRT and Rogue Machine, such as Lone-Anon, My Girlfriend is an Alien, and Disposable Necessities. His feature film, Loners, that he wrote and appears in, is available for streaming on Amazon Prime and Freevee. Neil has not had new headshots taken since 2005.

Jessie Guthrie (Amanda) graduated from UCLA School of Theater, Film, & Television in 2020. She is currently with Brave Artists Management and is very excited to be a member of Pacific Resident Theatre. Thank you to Vicki and the rest of the cast for the past month. Just like her character, Amanda, Jessie also hates camping.

Parker Huseby (Trenner) was brought into PRT as an assistant to director Elina de Santos on All My Sons. He is very grateful to be making my PRT acting debut with this wonderfully funny cast & crew. Rebecca Crandall
Rebecca Crandall (Female Swing) obtained a B.A. in Dramatic Arts from Harvard University, where she wrote, directed and produced The Circle: A Variation on Milan Kundera’s Book of Laughter and Forgetting for her thesis project. She has participated in numerous PRT productions, last seen in the Shakespeare project as Queen Margaret and Brutus in 2017. Rebecca was also a member of the PRT Writer’s Group, in which she produced her one-act play Young Democrats in 2006 and produced 2 webisodes based on the play with other members of PRT. Thanks to Tania, Dalia and Vicki, she is grateful to have the opportunity to romp with this amazing cast and crew.

Vicki is an LA based Director, Producer, and theatre artist. She is a graduate of USC School of Dramatic Arts and has since been working on some awesome projects with Pacific Resident Theatre, New Opera West, Skylight Theatre Company, and the Echo Theatre Company. Vicki is a proud company member of the Echo Theatre Company, and on the staff of Skylight Theatre Company where Vicki has run the Fresh Brews new play program. Vicki’s past LA theatre directing credits include Three Anne Franks by Maya Macdonald for the Echo Theatre Company, Anybody: Or How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love My Flesh Prison an original devised piece by the Echo Theatre Associate Company, Metamorphoses by Mary Zimmerman for Crosstown Players, When We Were Young and Unafraid by Sarah Treem at the New Collective Theatre, and various one acts and short plays for Skylight Theatre company and LA’s Meet Cute.
