Co-op: Shiva Rose is looking for an actor for a co-op production of a play she’s written called Fragile Life. It’s about the life of photographer Tina Modotti. Elina de Santos will direct the production, which begins rehearsing in August and will open in the co-op on September 3rd. The actorshould be in his late 30’s to late 40’s and have a credible Italian accent. The role is the charming, jovial and extremely brutal Communist leader Vittorio Vidali. Members: Anna Garduno is offering to produce your voice over and/or animation demo in August for $1000.00 This fee includes the cost of studio recording sessions, (an hour and a half). three private coaching sessions with Anna to help pick and rehearse the material, and four of her voice over/animation classes. Anna will direct the recording session and collaborate with the engineers on music, sound effects and backgrounds; she will also supervise the final editing for the demo,.The classes she teaches are held on Wednesday evenings from 7:15 to 9:15 and Saturday mornings from 10:00 to noon. PRT Film Workshop: Keith Stevenson has to postpone his editing workshop “hopefully for only a week” He says,”The editor I was hoping could teach it is out of town longer than he expected. If he’s not back by next week I’ll teach the workshop. I would [teach] this week, but I don’t have a Mac and I need to get familiar with the program.and find a Mac to use.” Keith is looking for a two or three year old Mac to borrow. He says,”There could be a free copy of Final Cut Express in it for you. (Provided it will run efficiently on said Mac.)”
